A.1.6 The Lesbian, Gay and Bisexual Students’ Officer shall:
i] Be responsible for all those areas of ULU business specifically related to Lesbians, Gays, Bisexuals and Trans and organise relevant education and training events and briefings;
ii] Liaise with any ULU Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Trans Students’ Group, and with the NUS Lesbian, Gay and Bisexual’s Campaigns and other groups;
iii] Liaise with the appropriate sabbatical officer and advise the Executive on all issues specifically related to Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Trans students;
iv] Carry out such duties as may from time to time be laid down by the Union Council or the Executive or as determined on an annual basis at Executive Training;
v] Liaise with other relevant officers and groups within UL Collegiate Unions, forming an ‘officer network’ which shall endeavour (in addition to email/phone contact) to meet at least once per term;
vi] Make verbal reports to each meeting of the Executive, where applicable this shall include a report from the relevant ‘officer network’ and shall seek representation from Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Trans Students; and
vii] Produce for their successor, an informative hand-over pack, which shall include all relevant contact.
