Membership of ULU’s Sports and Societies

 

This Union notes:

1.                  The ruling made at Sports and Societies Committee on Monday 3^rd October 2005 regarding membership of ULU’s clubs and societies.

2.                  That this ruling resolved to:

1. Allow associate members of ULU to join clubs and societies

2. That up to 1/3 of the complete membership of ULU’s clubs and societies may be associate members

3. That no time limit be placed on associate membership

 

4. That associate members may not hold the committee positions of President, Treasurer or Secretary.

3.                  That many UL colleges allow associate membership of their clubs and societies.

4.                  That many universities across the UK allow associate membership of their clubs and societies.

 

This Union resolves:

1.                  To amend the Union’s constitution and regulations as necessary to incorporate the changes agreed by the ULU Sports and Societies Committee.

2.                  To implement this policy with immediate effect.
