► The Gallery Bar, First Floor, ULU building
The Gallery bar is a cluster of leather sofas and low slung coffee tables, under a glass sky. By day it can be an oasis of calm, after the lunchtime frenzy. The popularity during lecture breaks and free afternoons is thanks to our great lunchtime menu and relaxed atmosphere.
Every day the kitchen serves delicious freshly prepared specials, including our Risotto Di Parma, a huge portion of mouthwatering risotto with peppers and parmesan for £3.50. Our selection of slalads changes frequently, so check out the Healthy Living menu.
We embrace diversity and encourage ethical practices, and put our philosophy into practice. We use a Halal butcher for all our meats, and for the specials we always offer a vegan choice! We use fairtrade coffee and tea throughout the building. Feel free to contact us with any other ideas on how we can improve.
If it's comfort food you're after, a variety of burgers, pastas and Figo's paninis are waiting for you. On those rare sunny days, dine on the terrace. The daylight and airiness may inspire you to put in a few hours at the library. If not, stay on to chat and watch the night turn the gallery into a factory of lighting, with the sounds mellowed. Have a glass of chardonnay, a pint or a fruit smoothie, and just chill !

The Gallery is located on the 1st floor of ULU and is open:
Monday to Thursday
