► A.1.10 The Medical Students Officer

A.1.10    The Medical Students Officer shall:

 

i)                    Represent, be nominated by, and study within medical colleges and schools;

ii)                   Endeavour to visit all the colleges in their Constituency

on a regular basis and liaise with the Presidents of those colleges;

iii)                  Convene and Chair MedGroup and present their decisions and recommendations to the Executive;

iv)                  Carry out such duties as may from time to time be laid down by the Union Council or the Executive or as determined on an annual basis at Executive Training;

v] Liaise with other relevant officers and groups within UL Collegiate Unions, forming an ‘officer network’ which shall endeavour (in addition to email/phone contact) to meet at least once per term;

vi]            Make verbal reports to each meeting of the Executive, where applicable this shall include a report from the relevant ‘officer network’; and

vii]        Produce for their successor, an informative hand-over pack, which shall include all relevant contacts,
