Hello I’m Ashley, the VP Education and Representation at ULU. I’ve just graduated from Queen Mary after studying Business Management for the past 3 years.

My role at ULU is split into the following parts:

Education

To ensure that the education all students receive from the University of London is of the highest standard. This role involves attending University Level meetings and committees.

Representation

This role involves running campaigns, such as the Transport for London campaign and the Access to Finance campaign. ULU also runs a Postgraduate Advice Service which offers advice to postgraduate students across London.

Welfare

I am here to support individual students as well the entire student body. If you need someone to talk to I am always here to help. The welfare role also involves running campaigns such as the ‘Bullying Sucks’ campaign which involve the welfare of students within their college.

Student Affairs

This role involves me working closely with the NUS and other organisations to ensure that ULU is up-to-date with the latest developments in matters which affect students. We will be working very closely with the NUS on Coalition 2010.
