If you are or want to become a Full or Ordinary Member of the University of London Union then you are one of the following:

• A registered ‘internal’ student of the University of London, which means you are studying, full time or part time, at one of the colleges of the University of London.  See the full list of colleges here.
• An Honorary Life member of ULU.

If you don’t fit into one of the categories above, then why not see if you fit into the Associate Member category?

Benefits of being a Full/Ordinary Member of ULU

All Full/Ordinary members of ULU are automatically entitled to use all of the services that we have on offer, which includes joining a club or society, voting in elections (Honorary Life members are not eligible to vote), joining Energy Base, entering the building after 6.30pm to enjoy our 3 bars with excellent prices on food and drink.  You can even get reduced student rates to some of the best gigs in London … we’ve had Razorlight, The Strokes, Keane, Kaiser Chiefs and many more play here in recent years.

If you would like to make the most of ULU, then you will need to obtain your ULU card.  This card will then be used as your gym pass, your ID number for joining a club or society and it will be your ID for the building.  You can use your card to join Energy Base straight away, but there is a monthly fee.  This of course is heavily discounted for Full/Ordinary members, have a look at what it costs here.

Your membership will be valid for the whole year; so don’t forget to renew it when you come back next year.  If you’re graduating, then stay with us by getting your Associate Membership card.

So how do I get my ULU card?

All you have to do to get your ULU card is come along to ULU Reception with a passport photo of yourself and proof of your student status (so your college ID card or Registration confirmation) and it will be made up there and then.  The card is TOTALLY FREE so what have you got to lose?
