ULU Sports provide a whole host of competitive opportunities for London students. Many ULU clubs exist in order to provide specialist or less-mainstream sports, and also to provide competitive opportunities for athletes in sports that are not necessarily offered within individual colleges, such as polo, lifesaving, orienteering or sailing.

Other ULU sports clubs exist to promote excellence within their individual sport, and are high-performance squads in a complimentary and supplementary manner to clubs within colleges, such as boat, volleyball, waterpolo, football or athletics. These clubs provide specialist support to athletes who may not have the necessary services available in their colleges, and compete at a high regional, national or international level. All the clubs are organised by students and training is available to help club officers and members develop.

ULU also organises the largest regional student sports competition in the country - the ULU Leagues. These are run by us for all the colleges across the University of London as well as some other non-UL universities, institutes and colleges.

The ULU clubs train and compete at our onsite facilities here at ULU, at Motspur Park (the sports ground we share with Fulham FC), and also at our specialist facilities at Chiswick (the UL Boathouse) and Wembley (sailing).
