 The Duck’n’Dive has been host to some of the wildest and cheapest nights in university history, and is central to student social life! It’s a chilled out environment for people to relax in between lectures, get a decent lunch or some bevvies after a hard day’s work! The emphasis in the “D&D�? is on value for money, and a great atmosphere.  Sizematters...Choose from huge plates of Nachos Grande and Cheesy Chips. Many a friendship has been forged over these mammoth meals! We offer a twist to modern European, Tex- Mex and world favourites, along with pub classics. Get in there early though, lunch gets busy! Play... Our digi-jukebox has all the best tunes from every genre, so there’s a soundtrack to your evening. We show live Premiership, Champions League and international matches on the plasma screens and as many games as possible on the HUGE 12 by 9 foot screen in ‘The Venue’Football Frenzy has also become a legend, with Carling £1.30 a pint until the first goal is scored on selected live matches – check the website or bar for details. From Pink Floyd to Coldplay, The Strokes to Bright Eyes, ULU – The Venue has witnessed some truly awesome gigs to sell out crowds. ULU has a reputation for being the kind of venue that bands play on their way up, with many of the music greats gracing the ULU stage as relative unknowns. The Venue has a fantastic musical heritage and bands always enjoy playing to an audience renowned for their musical knowledge and keen eye for the next big thing.
