Central’s Student Union provides you with an NUS card and ULU card, as well as the possibility of getting free tickets for London West End and Fringe theatres and galleries; a wide range of societies for you to join; active links with top London nightclubs, and the Union’s termly ball.

The work of the Student Union
is focused on four key areas:
• appropriate representation of
all students within CSSD
• campaigning with the ULU and
NUS on a local and national
basis for student rights in general
• ensuring equality of opportunity
for all students
• providing the voice for student
opinions.

Students are encouraged to get involved in as many ways as possible by utilising the skills that they learn on their course. You can help us to organise a campaign or project manage the end-of-year ball. Since summer 2005, when Central gained membership of the University of London, all Central School of Speech and Drama undergraduate and postgraduate students have automatically been full members of the University of London Union, ULU, gaining access to all the Clubs and Societies, bars and sports facilities that ULU members are offered. This includes access to Senate House library, the University’s centralised Careers and Accommodation services and access to Energy Base, a £2 million pound Health Club in Central London for only £25 a month.
