Hello,
I’m Dan the ULU Vice-President (Welfare & Student Affairs). My remit covers student welfare, education issues and student representation. Whether you are having problems with your landlord, etc, etc.
As well as sitting on various University Committees, I represent students from the Central Institutions and Centrally Administered Courses such as PhD and Research Masters. I’m also the lead officer on campaigns relating to health, welfare and academic issues.
My priorities for this year are London Weighting and I'm in the process of drafting a Postgraduates Students' Charter.
I’m currently in the middle of a French and Politics Degree at Queen Mary, University of London and next year I plan to live in France for the year as part of of my final year of my undergraduate.
Your years at University will shape you for the rest of your life, so make the most of it and get involved as it is more than just your degree.
My door is always open and I always look forward to meeting new students.
