At the beginning of 2006, ULU started on the biggest consultation process in the organisation’s history, as the next stage of the ongoing ULU TRANSFORMATION.
We met with nearly every College Students’ Union and a significant number of colleges to discuss in some detail every aspect of ULU’s future role covering all of its current activities and services. This has been written up at length and summarised in a series of charts that will be used during 2006-7 to formulate a new strategy for ULU to cover the next 3-5 years.
The aim of the Consultation is to consult further around the proposals of Transformation and ientify development needs for the future of ULU. This should also combine with the results of a review of space and cost allocation that will inform a process for bringing further student services and activities (not run by ULU) into the building and thereby taking the concept of a sustainable University of London Student Centre further forward.
