► A.1.4 The Part-time and Mature Students' Officer

A.1.4       The Part-time and Mature Students’ Officer shall:

 

i]              Be responsible for all those areas of Union business that specifically relate to Mature and/or Part-time students, and organise relevant educational and training events and briefings;

ii]                                             Represent ULU to the Mature Students’ Union;

iii]            Liaise with the appropriate Sabbaticals and advise the Executive on issues specifically related to Mature and Part-time students;

iv]            Carry out such duties as may from time to time be laid down by the Union Council or the Executive or as determined on an annual basis at Executive Training;

v]             To liaise with other relevant officers and groups within UL Collegiate Unions, forming an ‘officer network’ which shall endeavour (in addition to email/phone contact) to meet at least once per term;

vi]            Make verbal reports to each meeting of the Executive, where applicable this shall include a report from the relevant ‘officer network’; and

vii]           Produce for their successor, an informative hand-over pack, which shall include all relevant contacts.
