GREATER CO-OPERATION BETWEEN UL AND NON UL COLLEGES

Proposed by: Johann Malawana [President, Barts & The London Students’ Association]

Seconded by:Tom Evens [President ICSM], Claire Wren [ULU V-P Finance & Societies], David Utting [President, King’s College London], Rhian Jones [Welfare & Academic Affairs, Goldsmiths College]

 

THIS UNION BELIEVES

 

1.             The excellent work ULU has done as a regional campaigning body for students in London.

1.                    The successes of ULU in travel discounts for both UL and non-UL students within the London Region.

2.                    The successful cross-London events run by ULU Med Group for all healthcare professional students in London.

 

THIS UNION FURTHER BELIEVES

 

1.             Increased dialogue between UL and non-UL unions in the London region will benefit all concerned.

1.                    Issues affecting students with both UL and non-UL colleges are usually similar if not identical.

 

THIS UNION RESOLVES

 

1.             The President will invite all presidents or equivalent positions, of higher education universities within the London region to attend President’s Council.

2.             The Welfare Sabbatical will invite the relevant officer from all higher education universities within the London region to attend welfare network.

2.                    The Finance and/or Services Sabbatical should invite the relevant officer from all higher education universities within the London region to attend finance and services work.

3.                    The ULU Medical Students Officer should invite relevant representatives of healthcare professionals from all higher education universities with the London region to attend ULU Med Group.
