Amendment to ULU Cards Motion

 

And ADD Amendment

 

This Union Notes:

 

1.                 Mental health awareness is a priority of both this Union and the Department of Health.

2.                 Nightline is a major support and resource for students.

 

This Union Believes:

 

1.                  It is vital that all students are aware of Nightline.

2.                 It is of paramount importance that students have the telephone number of Nightline available in time of need.

3.                 That most students tend to carry their college card with them at all times.

 

This Union Resolves:

 

1.                 To ADD:

 

“That the Nightline logo and telephone number should be added to the joint-scheme cards of all colleges who wish to add the logo and telephone number and only if that college buys in to the Nightline service and that ULU should ensure this is raised during discussions with colleges.”
