CONSTITUTIONAL REVIEW ON PART-TIME EXECUTIVE JOB DESCRIPTIONS      

Proposed by: David Francis, ULU Council Chair

Seconded by: Claire Wren, V-P [Finance & Societies]

 

THIS UNION NOTES

 

1.          That the Constitutional Review working Party has meet as required by policy passed at the last Union Council;

 

THIS UNION RESOLVES

 

1.                    There shall be a Men’s Officer[1];

2.                    The ‘Mature and Part-time Students’ Officer’ shall be the ‘Part-time and Mature Students’ Officer;

3.                    The Anti-Racism Officer shall be the Racial Equality/Ethnic Minority[2] Officer;

4.                    There shall be a Trans Students’ Officer[3];

5.                    The Environment Officer shall be come the Environment and Ethics Officer;

6.                    To remove Committees officer and have the ULU positions on UL Council, Senate, CSAM and Finance Committee elected separately by (not necessarily from) Council;[4]

7.                    To include the Institute of Education as a Small and Specialist college;

8.                    To create an officer without portfolio;

9.                    To make to other minor grammatical, format and resultant changes as laid out in section A:1
