ELECTION REGULATIONS

Proposed Governance Committee

 

THIS UNION NOTES

 

1.       That cross-campus, online elections were held last academic year for all four full-time executive officer positions.

2.       That following the completion of these elections, Council set up an elections review group to look at improvements and changes to the election regulations.

3.       That this review group passed on its recommendations to Governance Committee to interpret and re-draft the election regulations.

 

THIS UNION RESOLVES

 

1.          To remove section D:1: of the current regulations and to delete the reference to the ‘Elections Committee’ in the paragraph preceding D:1:.

2.       To remove current election regulations in their entirety.

1.          To replace with the attached redrafted election regulations (B:1: – B:9: inclusive).
