30 June-2 July - Christian Aid National Volunteer Conference

If you volunteer for Christian Aid then this is a chance to join in workshops, meet other volunteers and share ideas.

2-6 - People and Planet Summer Gathering

A week-long training event that is intense yet chilled-out at the same time.  This is a chance for group organisers to learn from each other and from the speakers. 

8 - Drum Home the Message

A year after the G8 told us that they were committed to making poverty history, this is a chance to remind them to turn their words into action.  At noon you can be part of the world's first campaign drumming petition.

8 - Whose Rules Rule?

Over a billion people lack access to clean water.  This is a chance to hear prominent speakers, including Bianca Jagger, debate this issue and the campaigns that seek to address it.  Organised by the World Development Movement.

21 - Colombian Independence Day Salsa Party

Entertainment, live music and dancing organised by Children of the Andes.
