Whether you’re a hardened competitor, or you’re just starting out (or even just thinking about it), we can help! Remember, training is a lot more enjoyable if you’ve got someone to train with, especially if that someone is us!?

Badminton
The ULU Badminton Club provides coaching for the best players at London colleges and enters teams in Middlesex League. It caters for players of a recreational standard, particularly students that attend smaller or specialist colleges that don’t have their own badminton club. Training and matches take place on Sunday evenings at Somers Town Community Sports Centre.

Basketball
Our men’s and women’s teams, for experienced players, compete in BUSA and London Met League competitions. We also run a beginners programme for those wanting to learn. Everyone is welcome.

Boat Club
We’re a high performance club, based in Chiswick, and run elite and development squads for men and women. All our athletes compete at national and international level, with the top rowers regularly representing GB. The club groups are expanding and recruiting.

Canoe Polo
Canoe Polo is a fascinating and exciting contact sport played in kayaks on still water. Think of a combination between basketball, water polo and rugby! Sounds utterly ridiculous but it’s actually really good fun. We compete all year round in the National League, at uni tournaments and internationals – this year we’re heading to Ireland and Belgium. Everyone welcome, no experience required!

Fencing
Engarde! Try your hand at the exciting sport of fencing. Come and play with swords. Need we say more? No, but we will: Inexpensive fencing, friendly atmosphere, legendary socials. Experienced fencers welcome, but no experience or equipment is necessary. Regular sessions Tuesdays from 7pm in the Upper Hall at ULU.

Gymnastics
Ever fancied being able to do the splits, a backflip, or just get fit and have fun too? We cater for everyone from complete beginner to competition standard. We train trampolining 19:00- 20:00 and gymnastics 20:00-22:00 Tuesdays at a fully fitted gymnasium with sprung floor, tumble track, foam pit and apparatus (Talacre Community Sports Centre).
