ULU Buddhist Association (ULUBUDA) seeks to provide a platform to understand and practice the Teachings of the Buddha (The Dharma), by fostering openness between practioners of different Buddhist traditions and supporting people interested in the Dharma.
ULUBUDA has excelled beyond its Best new society 2004 achievements. It pioneered the Interfaith Forum and hosted religious speakers (Buddhism, Christianity, Hinduism and Islam) from the UK Interfaith Council in March 2004. It started an online Buddhist student journal (out.look), which is advised by an international panel of reputable advisors (academics, monastics and lay practitioners). In its second issue, entries have been received from London and Singapore Buddhist communities.
ULUBUDA holds a regular weekly dharma (Buddhas teachings) discussion and meditation session in addition to meditation retreats, temple visits, lunches (termly) and community service and lectures (twice/term).
