► Chamber Choir
We are an auditioned choir of experienced singers who rehearse once a week. We sing a fun mix of secular and ecclesiastical music at concerts and services both in London and further afield.
The Chamber Choir sings a wide range of musical styles at concerts and evensongs around the UK and tours in Europe. Music at recent concerts has included Italian madrigals, American spirituals, sacred church music including Stanford, Rheinberger, Victoria and Brahms and close harmony arrangements of Christmas Carols.
Concert venues have included the Parliamentary Chapel in the Palace of Westminster and evensongs in Rochester Cathedral and Magdalene College, Cambridge. In mid-December 2004 members of the choir toured Hamburg, Germany and in July 2005 Prague in the Czech Republic.
It is a testament to the excellent atmosphere of the choir that members have said they have not only found somewhere to sing but have made friendships which will last for a long time after leaving it.
