About Us
LINKS is the student arm of St John Ambulance
As a volunteer member of St. John Ambulance you will be able to take training courses from basic first aid to ambualnce aid.
There will also be opportunities to become radio contollers, duty managers, trainers, ambulance drivers (blue lights and everything!) and many more.
You can help to provide first aid cover for many public events, theatres, concerts and sports events. Members of ULU Links over the past year attended (amongst other events): O2 Wireless, Download Festival, Arsenal, Chelsea, Twickenham, Wimbledon, most West End shows including opening nights and the London Marathon.
Volunteering with St. John Ambulance gives you access to a variety of unique experiences, along with invaluable first aid skills and the knowledge that you're doing something good for the community.
We have meetings on Wednesday evenings during the term at 7:30pm. These include training and practice sessions, talks and demonstartions and scenario nights.
We've good a good varied calendar for this year so please come along and join us.
We usually conclude our weekly meetings in the pub, and we make sure there's always a few social events going on a term.
Even if you're not sure you want to dedicate the hours required for training and going on duty, we welcome anyone with an interest in first aid to come along (and bring your friends!) You never know when someone might need your help.
