Guy Gibbs
Guy learnt to ride when about 4 then dropped it for being ‘too girly.’ Before taking up Polo in 2005 he spent more time riding camels in the desert than horses. He now trains with ULU and at the Beaufort when home. Came second in the Winter Nationals, and 7th in the Summer Nationals (which we don’t mention). He also achieved great status by becoming the first beginner to be technical fouled in the Winter Nationals and still maintains that the umpire was wrong. He is now the club’s publicity secretary, although he rejects the claims that he slept his way to top….

Tori Page Tor has been riding since before she could remember. She took up polo in 2004 after selling her beloved 'Trevor' but only started playing with ULU at the end of 2005. She is currently the web officer and the polo club's resident 'put her 2 cents in about everything' girl. Tori frequently embarasses herself both on the polo field and at parties and then wont shut up about it for weeks afterwards. Despite the fact she has gained the nickname 'the immovable wall' from several big ex Army men, she still maintains that her best polo moment was that time she hit a full swing in canter... Felicity 'Flea' Vaughan Flea is ULU Polo's resident show girl. She skives from weekend polo outings to ride and show her two horses, Humphrey and Danny in working hunter classes. We don't mind though because she's been a member of the English WH Team and has been to RIHS and HOYS. ULU Polo members were on the edges of their seats when her old horse, Indy competed in the Celeb studded 'Only Fools on Horses'. She took up polo in 2005 wth ULU Polo club and is now known for being very agressive and bruising other players! |
