► Sub Aqua
ULSAC welcomes new and qualified divers from all backgrounds. We offer BSAC recognised training, a programme of weekend trips through the diving season, summer expeditions and a lively social scene.
The University of London Sub-Aqua Club was formed in 1958 by students who fancied a bit of underwater exploration. We are a member of the British Sub-Aqua Club (BS-AC). The BS-AC is the governing body for underwater sport in the UK. Our Club number is 69 - much to our amusement!
We spend the winter training in the pool so we can go away to Plymouth for ten days at Easter to finish off the basic training in the sea and prepare you for a lifetime of diving.
The club runs trips to Porthkerris, Plymouth, Swanage, Poole, Salcombe, Hayle, Pembroke, The Scilly Isles, The Isle of Mull, The Isle of Skye, The Farne Islands, The Clyde, The Summer Isles, Scapa Flow, Anglesey, Portland, Westbay, The Isle of Wight, Littlehampton. Recent overseas trips have been to Spain and the South of France.
Combined Annual Membership of ULSAC and BS-AC is 37 for students. This includes your insurance. To start learning you don't need to buy you own kit. We can lend you the essentials. ULSAC pride ourselves on being one of the cheapest places you can learn to dive safely.
