EQUAL OPPORTUNITIES IN PRACTICE

3.      All service users will receive non-judgemental advice, guidance and representation with equal regard for their individual needs. Usage will be monitored and evaluated at regular intervals to ensure this happens.

4.      Clients, employees and anyone who has contact with the service shall not be discriminated against on grounds of gender, age, ethnic origin, ability, religion, health, anti-body status, sexuality or social class.

5.      Discrimination of any form including; offensive remarks and behaviour will not be tolerated from staff, clients or visitors.

6.      Equal opportunities cannot be achieved without consistent awareness and effort by all those involved in providing the service. Equal opportunities awareness and development in practice is an integral component of professional training.
