To sign up for the Direct Debit option, ask at reception when signing up for a new membership. Members will have to provide us with a branch, sort code and account number for a bank account that allows direct debits.
In addition, new direct debit members will need to pay a small pro rata fee when joining to cover the days between the day of purchase and the first direct debit payment. Reception can advise you of what this amount will be on the day you intend to join.
Payment is taken on or just after the 1st of each month and will continue to be debited until Energybase receives written instructions to freeze or cancel the membership.
Direct debit payment amounts are amended during periods of closure to relfect the actual number of days the facility is open. This will result in a reduced amount being debited from you account in the months affected by closure.
To save time, download, print and fill in the following forms below to bring with you when you sign up.
If a member knows they will not use their membership over a period or from a certain date but intend to resume their membership in the future, they can freeze it.
This ensures payments are not taken during the requested period or after a certain date.
To do this, direct debit members need to either fill out a direct debit freeze form at Energybase reception or e-mail [email protected] with their full name and instructions to freeze the membership.
To unfreeze the membership, members need to fill out a new direct debit form at reception and pay the appropriate pro rate fee for that day.
Direct Debit Freeze/Cancellation Form
If a member decides to stop their membership, they can do so by completing a Direct debit cancellation form at Energybase reception or by e-mailing [email protected] with their full name and instructions to cancel the membership.
This can be done up to 10 days before a payment is taken (10 days before the 1st of the month).
it is the responsibility of the payer to also cancel the direct debit at their bank.
There are no refunds on direct debit payments.
