PFS is a society aiming to deepen students' understanding of human beings and their needs, providing opportunities to investigate development theories and practice, through discussion, training and voluntary work.

PFS aims:

To raise awareness among young people of their duty to help those suffering hardship and poverty.
To create opportunities for young people to take an active role in the society around them, through voluntary work, education and training, cultural exchanges and positive campaigns in favour of development and peace.
To promote the dignity of every human being, the true equality of men and women and the rights of children.
To foster the commitment of each community to its own development and support local initiatives that respond to real local needs.
