UCL Union is the UK's oldest students' union, looking after its members' non-academic lives since 1893 and providing its 20,000+ members with everything they need to experience student life to the fullest extent, from places to relax and enjoy themselves, to support and representation for when things don't quite go according to plan. The main site on 25 Gordon Street offers two of the cheapest bars you're going to find in this part of London, a fantastic cafe, a shop and even a hairdressers.
Walk down Gordon Street and you'll come to the Bloomsbury Theatre building, a professional West End theatre in which UCLU members get nine weeks access a year. The building also boasts a state-of-the-art gym, the cheapest in the area with membership not restricted to UCL students.
UCL offers an enormous range of sports clubs and societies for UCL (an non-UCL) students, including drama, a student radio station, a TV station, a full complement of cultural and religious societies and many, many more.
