Situated in Egham, Surrey, approximately half an hour away from Waterloo Station, the Students' Union is located at the centre of a leafy campus that was officially opened by Queen Victoria in 1886. The SU is extremely active, offering entertainment every night of the week. Students are welcome to make use of the full club facilitiy as well as Tommy's Bar, Medicine and the Stumble Inn, each varying in style.
SURHUL prides itself on its Student Activities Department and a radio station Insanity broadcasts between 8am and 1am every day during term time. Traditionally one of Britain's best radio stations, Insanity caters for all musical and specialist radio tastes, from dance tracks to political discussions. You can listen online at www.insanityradio.com. The Orbital, our union publication, is officially the country's best student magazine and continues to go from strength to strength.
Royal Holloway may be a bit of a pain to get to from the rest of London, but I guarantee you, it'll be worth the trip. For further information contact the Sabbatical Officers.
