Royal Academy of MusicThe Royal Academy of Music is the only conservatoire to be a member of the University of London.

It's not just all classical at the Academy; we have a range of diverse departments: all the traditional instrumental and vocal disciplines, as well as Historical Performance, the very prestigious Jazz department, Composition, Media & Applied Music and intensive one year Musical Theatre course.

With less than 650 students, RAMSU is a small Union. We pride ourselves on charity work Ð putting on charity concerts with some of the greatest conductors in the world and most talented performers in the industry Ð in 2002 RAM collaborated with ex-Alumni Sir Elton John at the Royal Opera House and raised over £1million for the Elton John Scholarship Fund.
