My name is Nizam Uddin, ULU President 2009/10 and current International Programmes Liaison Manager for the University of London Union (ULU). During my tenure as President last year, ULU worked on a campaign to bridge the relational gap with the University of London International Programmes, with the long- term view of advocating and even representing the views of students like you to ensure you had the best possible student experience. This campaign was very successful, which has led to this pilot agreement between ULU and the International Programmes, to see how best we can reflect and represent student views.
This is a post that has been created for an interim period, commissioning ULU to take the lead on authoring an independent student written submission (SWS) for the impending QAA audit and organizing relevant students to meet with the audit team on their visits (in April & May).
We are currently at the stage where the QAA Audit team will be visiting the institution and meeting both staff and students. Whilst this is currently restricted to those who students who reside in the UK due to financial implications, there are opportunities for students to get further involved via alternative means. If you are interested in getting involved, please do contact me via email.
ULU is also currently having discussions about the future of student representation within the International Programmes. The student voice has improved significantly over the last 5 years, and we want to ensure this continues to be the case in a sustainable and effective manner.

International Programmes Liaison Manager
