► St. George's, University of London

St George's, University of LondonThe Mighty St. George’s is probably one of the smallest Students Unions in the land but it’s definitely one of the finest.

We are the country’s only free-standing institution for healthcare, and we are the only university in London attached to a hospital. With a long history, many famous alumni and brand new Student Union facilities, George’s is second to none.

Renowned for its infamous “St. George’s Discos” with the longest (and cheapest!) bar in London, we know how to party! As if that wasn’t enough, we also have hugely successful Sports nights, Quizzes, Acoustic nights, and Poker tournaments.

As well as excelling in all aspects of partying and socialising St George’s also excels in sport. Both our netball and hockey teams won their BUSA leagues last season and our squash club was promoted! The S.U host’s a huge range of other societies such as religious groups and performing arts, with our fabulous Revue Society performing at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival again this year. If that’s not enough there’s plenty of opportunity to be involved in anything from UNICEF to the awesome annual ski trip.

In short George’s is THE place to be!
